Andy Warhol quote

 Great majority of my drawings and paintings are from my life drawing classes that I developed. also I get inspiration from everyday life when I am walking in the street, park etc and see something that catch my eyes I may take a picture to paint it later... that can be immediately or a few weeks or months later, when the time is right.

Also  I paint from photos I took when travelling... or  from a book or newspaper that really touched me inside although this last two  I am not particularly comfortable about.

I still experimenting with a bit of everything pastel, acrylic, watercolour, oil etc ... I love to paint people and my aim is to get better and better with time and practice. But I also like to try all sorts still life, cityscape, landscape...so don't be surprise if you find a nude drawing next to a painting of a  bowl of fruit, next to a paint of  cityscape as I follow my own impulse and desire to paint or draw what appeal to me in the moment...


Grande maioria dos meus desenhos e pinturas são de minhas aulas de desenho da figura humana. Também tiro inspiração da vida cotidiana, quando eu estou andando na rua, no parque etc e vejo algo que me chama a atencao eu tiro uma foto para pintá-lo mais tarde ... que pode ser imediatamente ou algumas semanas ou ate meses mais tarde, quando for a hora certa.

Também pinto fotos que tirei das minhas viagens ... ou de um livro ou jornal que realmente me tocou por dentro, embora este dois últimos eu não fico particularmente à vontade .

Eu gosto de experimentar um pouco de tudo pastel, acrílico, aquarela, óleo, etc, ... Eu adoro pintar pessoas e meu objetivo é me aperfeicoar mais e mais com o tempo e prática. Mas eu também gosto de experimentar com todos os tipos como por exemplo natureza morta, paisagem, predios, ruelas etc ... por isso não será surpresa se ​​você encontrar um desenho nu ao lado de uma pintura de uma taça de frutas, ao lado de uma pintura de paisagem como eu sigo o meu próprio impulso e desejo de pintar ou desenhar o que me atrai no momento ...

Baby owls and radio

last night I couldn't sleep so I decided to paint..

I went to my kitchen and painted my radio it is pink in colour but maybe because it was night time or morning  (between midnight and 3 am) the colour looks very different in here... then afterwards I got a picture from my local newspaper 2 cute baby owls in there so I painted these too. Both pictures I did without planning, sketching or using pencil before hand as sometimes I do... I painted it straight away as I was dying to paint something to make me relax...

 ontem à noite eu não conseguia dormir, então eu decidi pintar ..

Eu fui para a minha cozinha e decidi pintar o meu rádio que  é na cor rosa, mas talvez porque era de noite ou de manhã (entre meia-noite e 3 da manhã), a cor parece bem diferente aqui ...  depois eu peguei uma foto do meu journal local e pintei 2 corujas bebê  que achei um pouco engracados. Essas duas pinturas eu fiz sem planejamento, nao desenhei antes  ... eu os pintei  de imediato como eu estava morrendo de vontade de pintar algo para relaxar ...

the creation of the Blue Nude Acrylic

Last Thursday I went to Craft Central a building in Clerkenwel full of creative souls doing all sorts of arts and crafts... jewellery, ceramics, textiles, millinery and so on. I like crafts and did a few courses being my favourites mosaic and silver jewellery.  I love silver jewellery on its own or decorated with big semi-precious stones like Peridot, Amber or any light blue stones.

One thing  takes to another... a few years ago I became very interested in Alternative Therapies and holistic massage and then went to crystal and semi-precious stones I study a bit a few of these subjects and work for awhile with a few of them  before I change to other field of  interests like art. Before all that  in Brazil my formal training was in Psychology which I never got to work in the area. So my interest in life always been the Mind, body and Spirit...

I am working in some oil painting at the moment and I might add some ideas to my old paintings that is coming through my mind...I need to be brave and do some studies on cloth painting..so all these things are going on in my mind at the moment and are coming to life slowly...

Quinta-feira passada eu fui ate o  Craft Central um edifício  em Clerkenwel cheio de almas criativas que fazem todos os tipos de artes e artesanato ... joalheria, cerâmica, têxteis, chapelaria e assim por diante. Eu gosto de artesanato e fiz alguns cursos sendo dois dos meus favouritos mosaico  e jóias em prata. Eu gosto muito de jóias de prata sozinhas ou decoradas com grandes pedras semi-preciosas como Peridot, Amber ou quaisquer pedras azuis claras.

Uma coisa leva a outra ... alguns anos atrás, fiquei muito interessado em terapias alternativas e massagem holística e depois fui para cristal e pedras semi-preciosas eu estudei  um pouco alguns desses temas e  trabalhei por algum tempo com alguns deles antes de mudar para outro campo de interesse como a arte. Antes desses cursos a minha formacao foi em Psicologia no Brasil a qual  eu nunca cheguei a trabalhar na área. Então, o meus interesses foi sempre o corpo, a mente e espírito ...

Eu estou trabalhando em algumas pintura a óleo no momento e tambem estou pensando  em  acrescentar algumas coisas para minhas pinturas antigas em acrilico que está vindo a minha mente ... Eu preciso ser corajosa e fazer algumas pinturas que tenham pano, uma das minhas dificuldades no moento .. assim todas estas coisas estão acontecendo em minha mente no momento e estou a faze-las sem pressa ...

Female and Male

one of my friends from the nude drawing group  invited me once to go to this workshop and we did a few drawings of these lovely couple in charcoal and also this one in acrylic I am showing bellow. I did this painting using cardboard paper instead of brush and black and white acrylic paint.  I think it was quite interesting technique.

Uma amiga minha do grupo de desenho da figura humana uma vez me convidou para fazer parte de  um workshop. Nos fizemos varias poses deste casal abaixo em carvao e tambem em acrilico. O desenho que mais gostei  foi este que  estou mostrando abaixo. Eu fiz esta pintura usando papelao ao inves de pincel com tinta acrilica preta e branca. Achei o efeito bem interessante.

this is one of my old Pastel drawings that I developed into Acrylic with a few changes to the figure. At the time I was reading a few books on Toulouse- Lautrec so I think I got influenced by  his Can Can dancers at the Moulin Rouge...
